Position Overview

We are looking for an exceptional, experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Full-Time floor Supervisor for our coastal wear clothing shop in Portrush, Northern Ireland. The Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, leading a team of sales assistants, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering an outstanding and memorable shopping experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Train and onboard new employees, ensuring they are knowledgeable about products and company policies
  • Schedule and assign shifts, manage time-off requests, and maintain adequate staffing levels
  • Monitor and evaluate individual and team performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the sales floor is organised and appealing
  • Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment, stock takes, and product ordering
  • Handle cash management, including opening and closing registers, preparing deposits, and reconciling sales
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns, resolving issues promptly and professionally
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop and implement sales strategies and promotions
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to inform business

Qualifications

  • Previous retail management or supervisory experience is required
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of the retail industry and fashion trends
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
  • Proficient in using technology, point-of-sale systems, and inventory management software
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
